Drama

Drama Elective         This course meets every Friday for just over an hour, and is open to middle school students only.  As an introductory course covering the basics of dramatic arts as produced on stage, it is designed to open up and explore the student’s self-awareness and imagination, and to encourage artistic creativity through playful interaction with others in a variety of activities. Students will develop a comfort level of stage performance through a series of individual and collaborative improvisational exercises, as well as monologue and scene study, in a supportive classroom environment.
