Extended Care 2006-07
St. Stephen School will be offering extended care (before and after school) for our students. The program is available to all students EC3-8th Grade. Our program is geared to provide a "home away from home" where children are encouraged to play, relax, create, and learn in a supervised setting. Due to Diocesan insurance regulations and for the safety of your child will not be allowed to remain on school grounds prior to school or after dismissal without being supervised. Therefore any child not picked up at 3:00 (12:00 on early dismissal days) will be sent to the Extended Day program and assessed the normal fees.
Drop-Ins: Since the program has limited capacity, we need to determine if there is adequate supervision for your child. Therefore, we can ONLY accept drop-in students with prior approval from the school office.
The St. Stephen Extended Care Program is financed by the parents who participate in the program; it is not subsidized by the school or parish. Prompt payments are essential to the program and should be separate from the monthly tuition check. Place you checks in an envelope with your child's name and grade indicated. Put "Extended Day" on the memo.

Computer Time
- TIME: 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (11:15 a.m. for EC students)
- FEES: are listed per student. For each additional child, add 75% to the single student fee (excluding 2nd child in EC3 or EC4). All fees should be paid with a check (please write Extended Day Program on the memo portion of the check).

BUDGET Plan Fees for students using the program regularly for EC3 to 8th Grade are as follows

Weekly Rate: $50.00 pre-paid/due on Monday of each week

Monthly Rate: $185.00 due on the 1st of each Month

Annual Rate: $1,600.00 due on August 1st
HOURLY Fee: $4.00 an hour for all other use (including mornings and early childhood).
- GRACE PERIOD: 15 minutes grace period and anything over the 15 minutes will be calculated to the next hour. (For example, if your child attended from 3-5:10, you would be charged 2 hours ($8.00). However, if your child was picked up at 5:17, you would be charged 3 hours ($12.00).
- BILLING: Those not on the budget plan will receive a monthly bill at the end of each month (normally in the last Wednesday Folder of the month).
- LATE Fee: Payment must be received by the 10th of the following month to avoid a $15.00 late fee. All payments received after the 10th of the month will be considered late.
- END OF SCHOOL YEAR: In May, your bill will be two-part. You will receive most of the month of May in the last Wednesday Folder of the year. A bill will be mailed to you for the few days remaining in the month of May. If possible, we ask that you try to pay your bill in advance for those few days. All fees should be paid by the last day of school.
